We are hiring a motivated Warehouse Worker for our facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role is fundamental to our distribution network, involving the handling of goods from receipt to dispatch. You will be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations, including stocking, order fulfillment, and ensuring the accuracy of inventory. We emphasize a safe working environment and expect all team members to follow strict safety protocols. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process warehouse stock products.
- Pick, pack, and ship orders according to established procedures.
- Perform inventory checks and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Operate manual and powered equipment safely, including pallet jacks.
- Follow all directions for proper warehouse layout and storage.
- Strictly adhere to all Safety guidelines and wear required PPE .
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, orderly, and free from hazards.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Assist in loading and unloading of delivery trucks.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Must be capable of Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures and inventory control.
- Knowledge of general Safety practices and the importance of PPE .
- Reliability and punctuality are crucial.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
