Job Summary:
Our Baltimore, Maryland location is seeking an organized and meticulous Inventory Clerk to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining accurate inventory records, minimizing discrepancies, and supporting efficient warehouse operations. You will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring the integrity of our inventory data. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy of stock levels.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies by reconciling records with physical counts.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming inventory, ensuring correct quantities and product identification.
  • Organize and maintain inventory storage areas to optimize space and accessibility.
  • Generate inventory reports for management, highlighting stock levels, aging inventory, and potential issues.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of all inventory items to prevent damage or loss.
  • Assist in the implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to support overall operational efficiency.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory control role.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or inventory tracking software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 40 pounds.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
