Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify incoming merchandise against purchase orders.
- Sort, organize, and stock inventory in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for outgoing orders using scanning equipment or pick lists.
- Pack orders securely for transit, ensuring product protection.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, managing freight efficiently.
- Operate warehouse machinery, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, with proficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Regularly inspect equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Ensure adherence to all company Safety guidelines and the correct use of PPE .
- Participate in team efforts to achieve departmental goals related to Logistics .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is advantageous.
- Ability to perform strenuous tasks, including frequent Lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Understanding of warehouse procedures and inventory management.
- Commitment to following Safety protocols and guidelines.
