We are actively recruiting for Picker/Packer positions at our logistics hub in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role is essential for ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment for our diverse customer base. You will be responsible for selecting items from inventory and packaging them securely for shipment, all while adhering to strict Safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, energetic, and capable of performing physical tasks, including moderate Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve products from warehouse locations using pick sheets or scanning devices.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure correct product and quantity.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipment, minimizing damage.
- Apply shipping labels and necessary documentation to packages.
- Conduct quality control checks on packed orders before dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and wear required PPE at all times.
- Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counts.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy targets for picking and packing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse or fulfillment experience as a picker/packer is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical duties, including frequent standing, walking, and Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Understanding of Safety procedures and the correct use of PPE.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts if needed.
