We are looking for dedicated Picker/Packers to join our busy logistics facility in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment to our customers. Your attention to detail and efficiency are paramount to ensuring customer satisfaction and the smooth flow of our operations. This position involves physical activity, including standing, walking, and Lifting, and requires adherence to strict Safety guidelines. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order lists or RF scanner data.
- Verify picked items against order details for accuracy.
- Pack items carefully into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection.
- Apply shipping labels and documentation correctly.
- Conduct quality checks on all outgoing orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Follow all company Safety procedures and wear mandated PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Meet daily picking and packing performance targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, walking, and Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Understanding and adherence to Safety regulations and the use of PPE.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work varied shifts if required.
