We are looking for a detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for all incoming goods. Your responsibilities will include unloading delivery trucks, verifying the contents of shipments against purchase orders and invoices, and inspecting items for any damage or discrepancies. You will accurately record received goods into our inventory management system and ensure that all items are properly tagged and staged for put-away or distribution. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe receiving area is a top priority. You must strictly adhere to all company safety protocols and always utilize the appropriate PPE , such as safety vests and gloves. This role involves moderate physical activity, including some Lifting of boxes and materials, typically up to 40 lbs. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and basic computer proficiency. A good understanding of warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial.
