A rewarding opportunity exists for a Warehouse Worker at our Madison, Wisconsin facility. This position is integral to our daily logistics operations, involving a wide range of tasks from receiving and stocking to picking, packing, and shipping. We are looking for a reliable and energetic individual committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The role requires physical stamina, the ability to handle frequent Lifting, and a good understanding of warehouse procedures. You will be a valued member of our team, contributing to the smooth functioning of our supply chain and ensuring timely order fulfillment. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential in all aspects of this role.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments.
- Stock received goods in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specifications.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and consolidation.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, ensuring adherence to all PPE requirements.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Support the overall efficiency of our logistics network.
- Perform manual Lifting tasks, often up to 50 pounds.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere within the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
- Physical capability to perform tasks involving frequent Lifting, standing, and moving for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and secure workplace.
- Good communication skills.
