A dynamic opportunity awaits a Warehouse Associate in our Detroit, Michigan location. This role is critical to our daily logistics and supply chain operations. You will be responsible for a wide range of warehouse activities, including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and managing inventory. We are seeking an individual who is reliable, organized, and committed to maintaining a safe working environment. This position requires physical stamina, the ability to perform frequent Lifting, and a good understanding of warehouse procedures. You will work collaboratively with a team to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment. Attention to detail is key to accuracy in all tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments.
- Store and organize inventory accurately within the warehouse.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with PPE guidelines.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on Safety.
- Assist in maintaining the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
- Perform manual Lifting tasks, often up to 50 pounds.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere.
- Ensure all activities align with the company's logistics and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that involve frequent Lifting, standing, and moving for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and secure workplace.
- Good communication skills.
