We are hiring a diligent Warehouse Associate to join our energetic team in Austin, Texas. This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our distribution center, focusing on accurate order fulfillment and efficient material handling. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, as well as receiving and stocking incoming goods. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety are crucial. You will be expected to adhere to all warehouse safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves physical activity, including regular lifting and movement of items. A positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a willingness to learn are highly valued. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders.
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Ensure all products are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Contribute to team efforts to meet daily operational goals.
- Perform tasks that require consistent lifting and movement of goods.
- Support other warehouse functions as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to perform tasks including frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and the importance of PPE.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory principles.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
