We are seeking a dedicated and organized Warehouse Coordinator to join our dynamic logistics team in Jacksonville, Florida. This role is critical for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse, from inventory management to shipment coordination. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. You will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, coordinating with shipping and receiving departments, managing inventory levels, and ensuring that all operations adhere to safety protocols. This includes ensuring all team members are properly trained on handling procedures and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). You will also play a key role in optimizing warehouse layout and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs. Experience in a similar role within the logistics industry is highly preferred. This position requires significant attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. The ability to perform moderate lifting is also a requirement for certain tasks within the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance.
- Manage inventory control and reconcile with data storage system.
- Oversee the efficient and safe unloading, storing, and shipping of all products.
- Ensure accurate order picking and packing.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and instructing staff on and enforcing safety rules and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and governmental regulations.
- Implement and enforce the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for all warehouse staff.
- Manage the logistics of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Train and supervise warehouse staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or vocational training preferred.
- Proven warehouse or logistics experience.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and systems.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle moderate to heavy lifting as required.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures, including the use of PPE.
