We are seeking a committed and client-focused Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide effective, client-centered services that enhance the well-being and functional independence of clients and their families. Applicants should have a holistic perspective and be adept at adapting environments to individual needs. Successful candidates may take on leadership responsibilities, supervising staff and students, advancing clinical programs, and expanding community collaborations. This role offers the potential for progression to Clinical Manager and includes options for business ownership. We particularly value professionals with interests in pediatrics, teens and adults with an interest in mental health. We support ongoing professional growth and accommodate individual areas of interest within the field. This postion will suite therapists that enjoy using all their training, thinking outside the box, exploring alternative ways of practicing and meeting the clients needs more comprehensively.
*Responsibilities*
· Address aspects of client performance to support engagement in occupations that impact health, well-being, and quality of life
· Select and adapt the appropriate occupational therapy treatment model, methods, and approaches per case
· Apply interventions that maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental ADLs
· Teach clients alternative approaches to tasks and educate them to break tasks into manageable steps
· Assess client environments and recommend alterations tailored to individual needs and capabilities
· Recommend adaptive equipment and provide training in its use
· Deliver evidence-based treatments across a wide range of clinical areas and age groups
· Guide and educate family members and caregivers
· Monitor, document, and report progress toward long- and short-term treatment goals
· Collect data and maintain accurate documentation
· Provide regular client follow-up
· Collaborate with staff and contribute to student training
· Maintain electronic medical record (EMR) requirements
· Supervise junior staff, COTA staff, student programs, and development activities
*Skills & Qualifications*
· Proven experience as an occupational therapist
· Solid understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices
· Proficiency with relevant computer applications and creative media
· Familiarity with pediatric and lifespan assessments and common treatment modalities
· Ability to manage clients with diverse physical, developmental, mental health, and social challenges
· Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
· Demonstrated professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills
· Experience in staff supervision or management
· Valid Washington State license and registration to practice
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in occupational therapy

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
