Supply Chain Coordinator

Location: Concord, NC (On-site/Hybrid/Remote possible)

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to manage vendor delivery schedules and ensure on-time performance. This role will be responsible for tracking shipments, obtaining delivery commitments, and reporting key metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement. Strong Excel skills and the ability to analyze and communicate data effectively are essential.

• Communicate regularly with vendors to obtain and confirm delivery dates for open orders.
• Monitor scheduled shipments and escalate delays or risks to internal stakeholders.
• Track and report on-time delivery performance, identifying trends and root causes of late shipments.
• Maintain accurate records of delivery commitments and actual receipt dates.
• Collaborate with purchasing, planning, and logistics teams to ensure alignment on delivery expectations.
• Develop and maintain Excel-based reports and dashboards to visualize performance metrics.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to vendor performance and supply reliability.
• Provide proactive updates and recommendations based on shipment schedules and vendor feedback.

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or vendor management.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts, conditional formatting).
• Experience with ERP systems and order tracking tools.
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with vendor scorecards or performance tracking.
• Familiarity with supply chain KPIs such as OTIF (On-Time In-Full).
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Vendor On-Time Delivery Rate (%): Measures the percentage of deliveries received on or before the committed date.
• Average Days Late: Tracks the average number of days shipments are delayed beyond the scheduled delivery date.
• Delivery Date Confirmation Rate (%): Percentage of open orders with confirmed delivery dates from vendors.
• Shipment Visibility Compliance (%): Percentage of shipments proactively tracked and updated before expected ship dates.
• Reporting Accuracy & Timeliness: Evaluates the quality and punctuality of performance reports shared with stakeholders.
• Escalation Response Time: Measures how quickly issues with delayed shipments are identified and escalated.
