Fund Accounting Manager

At RGP, we are looking for a Fund Accounting Manager. In this role, you will play a critical role in managing the day-to-day accounting and reporting activities for open-ended core real estate funds. This position requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial deliverables.

What you will work on

• Oversee daily fund accounting operations for open-ended real estate funds administered internally and externally.
• Liaise with third-party fund administrators on cash management, capital allocations, accruals, expense budgeting, financial statements, capital calls, distributions, redemptions, and investor requests.
• Review quarterly estimates and final fund NAVs.
• Calculate waterfall and incentive models.
• Manage expense processes and ensure compliance firm policies.
• Deliver financial reporting for quarterly close and produce GAAP-compliant quarterly and annual fund partnership financial statements.
• Coordinate annual audits with external auditors and ensure SOX compliance with internal audit.
• Review quarterly and annual financial regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams including Tax, Acquisitions, Portfolio Management, Asset Management, Legal & Compliance, Investor Client Services, FP&A, Technology, and Treasury.
• Manage and oversee offshore team operations.

What you will bring

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• Experience in audit, fund accounting, or fund administration.
• Experience with open-ended funds; real estate industry experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Investment Company accounting and industry performance metrics.
• Exceptional attention to detail, integrity, and work ethic.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and work collaboratively across teams.

• Pay Range: $65-$85/hr.
