About the Role

We are a rapidly scaling DTC ecommerce company in the health & wellness space seeking a world-class Chief Operating Officer (COO) to own all day-to-day operations, drive execution, and build the systems that support our next stage of growth.

This is not a corporate maintenance role.
It is a builder role—perfect for someone who thrives in high-growth environments, moves decisively, and can architect operational excellence across an entire ecommerce ecosystem.

For the right candidate, this role includes a clear and accelerated pathway to the CEO position, as the current Founder & CEO plans to transition into a more strategic, product-innovation-focused role. The COO will be groomed to step into the CEO position once operational mastery, leadership excellence, and business-wide ownership are demonstrated.

Qualifications

  • Proven success scaling ecommerce companies to 8-figure or 9-figure revenue essential.
  • Strong operator with deep experience in DTC, supply chain, and fulfillment.
  • Expertise in Shopify, Amazon, ERP, logistics software, and ecommerce systems.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership & Scaling

  • Own end-to-end ecommerce operations including supply chain, fulfillment, customer experience, inventory, logistics, and quality control.
  • Build scalable operational systems, SOPs, and processes that support rapid growth across multiple product lines (devices, skincare, accessories).
  • Lead cross-functional alignment between Ops, Marketing, Product, Finance, Customer Support, and Engineering.
  • Oversee and continuously improve Shopify + Amazon operations, order flow, and fulfillment performance.
  • Implement metrics, dashboards, and KPIs across the organization to ensure transparency, accountability, and fast execution.

Team Leadership & Culture

  • Hire, develop, and lead high-performing teams across operations, logistics, customer service, and supply chain.
  • Strengthen a culture of accountability, speed, safety, quality, and ownership.
  • Train and mentor emerging leaders to scale with the business.
  • Instill operational discipline and elevate communication standards across the company.

Supply Chain & Manufacturing

  • Oversee domestic and international manufacturing relationships.
  • Manage quality assurance programs, including electrical safety compliance (UL, IEC), FDA regulations, and device testing protocols.
  • Own forecasting, demand planning, and supply chain resilience.
  • Lead SKU expansion, new product onboarding, and lifecycle management.

Financial & Strategic Leadership

  • Partner with the CEO and CFO/finance team on budgeting, forecasting, margin optimization, and cash-flow planning.
  • Lead cost-reduction initiatives and margin improvement across sourcing, packaging, and fulfillment.
  • Assist in the development and execution of multi-channel growth strategy (DTC, B2B, Amazon, retail).
  • Evaluate opportunities for strategic partnerships, licensing, new verticals, and international expansion.

The COO role is explicitly designed as a succession track to transition into the CEO role within a defined timeframe, based on performance.

Pay: $150, $200,000.00 per year
