Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while working in a supportive and collaborative setting. Candidates with experience in childhood development, classroom management, and caregiving are encouraged to apply. A strong background in early childhood education and childcare is essential to ensure a safe and enriching experience for all students.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence
  • Monitor and assess each child's developmental progress, tailoring activities to meet individual needs
  • Foster positive behavior management strategies to support social skills and emotional regulation
  • Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and daily activities
  • Ensure the safety of children by adhering to health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Incorporate first aid procedures when necessary and maintain current certifications
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan classroom activities and school events
  • Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing appropriate care

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with children in preschool, daycare, or similar settings is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
  • Experience with classroom management, behavior management, and caregiving techniques
  • Certification in first aid is required; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and team members
  • Compassionate, patient, organized, and enthusiastic about fostering young children's growth
  • Experience with infant care, toddler care, babysitting, nannying, or daycare environments is advantageous
