Job Description

We are seeking an experienced
Oracle Projects Functional Consultant
to support end-to-end implementation, enhancement, and production support activities across Oracle Cloud (Fusion) or E-Business Suite (EBS) Project modules. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business process design, functional configuration, testing, and solution delivery within the Oracle Projects portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead functional design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle Projects modules, including:
• Project Costing
• Project Billing
• Project Contracts
• Project Management
• Grants Management (optional)
• Time & Labor integrations
• Analyze business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and define scalable Oracle solutions.
• Conduct FIT/GAP analysis and recommend best practices aligned with Oracle standards.
• Configure setups across project types, templates, agreements, billing methods, budgeting, and capital asset processing.
• Work closely with Finance, Procurement, and Accounting teams to ensure seamless integration with:
• GL, AP, AR, PO, FA, and Timekeeping systems.
• Support month-end and year-end processes including revenue generation, cost allocation, and project invoicing.
• Design test scripts, perform system testing, support UAT, and coordinate defect resolution.
• Develop functional documentation, training materials, and provide user training.
• Collaborate with technical teams for integrations, extensions, and custom report development.
• Provide post-go-live support, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure system stability.
• Participate in release upgrades, regression testing, and new feature adoption within Oracle Cloud.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of functional experience
  in Oracle Projects (Cloud and/or EBS).
• Strong expertise in:
• Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Contracts
• Revenue recognition and project accounting processes
• Budgeting, forecasting, and asset capitalization
• Experience with integrations between Projects and Financials modules.
• Ability to write functional specifications (RICEFW), coordinate testing, and manage system enhancements.
• Strong understanding of Oracle Project Accounting lifecycle and industry best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex functional issues.
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle Cloud Certification in Financials or PPM.
• Experience with project manufacturing or grants.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
