Estimator – Industrial

About the Role:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Estimator to help us bid on industrial, civil, structural, and commercial projects. This role involves reviewing drawings, performing take-offs, preparing cost estimates, and managing bids through online platforms. Remote applicants are welcome as long as communication and organization are excellent.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, specs, and construction documents
• Perform accurate material, labor, and equipment take-offs
• Providing accurate data from blueprints
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and bid proposals
• Use online bidding platforms (BuildingConnected, iSqFt/ConstructConnect, SmartBid, etc.)
• Track bid invites, addenda, deadlines, and RFIs
• Communicate with vendors, GCs, and internal team members
• Organize bid files and maintain up-to-date cost data

Requirements:

• Strong blueprint reading and take-off skills
• Experience with digital tools (Bluebeam, PlanSwift, STACK, etc.)
• Comfortable with online bid platforms
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Able to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
• Reliable computer, internet, and workspace (for remote candidates)

Preferred:

• Knowledge of estimating software (HCSS HeavyBid, RSMeans, etc.)

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
