Terracon is seeking an experienced environmental practitioner, leader, and aspiring Project Manager to join the leadership team in our
Hartford, CT
office, with project assignments also including managing backlog in
Westchester County, NY
.
Our office works on a diverse set of projects sourced both locally and nationally, including environmental site assessments (Phase I/II ESAs/LSIs); comprehensive site characterization and risk assessments; remedial design, installation and O&M; and asbestos & industrial hygiene (IH) projects. We are a multi-discipline solution provider to myriad clients that include Fortune 100 international Commercial-Retail owners/operators and developers; financial institutions; law firms; national and Northeast-US based architect/engineer (A/E) clients; as well as towns, municipalities, and school districts in the local New England marketplace. Essential Role And Responsibilities
- Serve as Project-Task and Field Operations Manager for large multi-discipline site investigations and remediation projects in Westchester County NY and CT.
- Project Manager for various other due diligence and & site characterization assignments.
- In partnership with the Office Manager, develop and execute on business development strategies to build/grow backlog for the Environmental team in the southern New England footprint managed by the Rocky Hill office, coordinated & integrated with our teams in Manchester, NH, Greater Boston and Providence offices.
- Work proactively within our National Client
