Overview

This position, located in Washington, D.C., will ensure uptime of critical systems, uphold a friendly, safe work environment for the client, and maintain all building systems, fire life safety equipment, HVAC equipment, electrical systems, office space, and any other client property. Candidate must have the ability to respond to emergency calls.

The base hourly rate is aligned with market data and is estimated between $33.65 to $36.05 (hourly) with the ability to achieve additional compensation through bonus.  This salary range reflects base compensation for the position across all US locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and other factors, including relevant education/training, experience, and internal equity.

Responsibilities
  • Assists & helps with change control process that governs all work in the critical environments and infrastructure that supports critical environments.
  • Completes all training for operational, safety, work management and other related areas
  • Responsible for but not limited to; operating, inspecting, and maintaining all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Life Safety Systems and other equipment in assigned facilities.
  • Assures that equipment is maintained in an energy efficient and safe manner.
  • Utilizes preventative maintenance and service request system to reduce client equipment down time by implementing and performing structured preventive, predictive equipment maintenance.
  • Performs inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas, including walls and flooring, installed fixtures, roofing systems, lighting, etc.
  • Manages the subcontractor resources required to support building operation and maintenance.
  • Other miscellaneous duties, as assigned
Qualifications
  • Strong HVAC background – Preferred two years of technical schooling and/or 5 years of experience with Electrical Systems, CRAC Units, Heat Pumps, Fire Life Safety Systems, Appliance Repair, and General Building Maintenance.
  • Experience with - Emergency backup systems – Including Generators,
