Maintenance Technician

SHIFT: 12 HOUR 3-2-2 ROTATING SHIFT. NIGHT SHIFT is from 6:45pm-7am
We are currently seeking a
Maintenance Technician
for the NIGHT SHIFT with the below qualifications:

Professional Attributes

• Machine maintenance
• Troubleshooting, repair, and improvement of complex plastics processing and ancillary equipment
• Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to increase equipment reliability
• Coordinate and implement preventative maintenance activities
• Other roles/duties may be assigned as necessary to assist the Company in the attainment of its goals and objectives
• Maintain clean & safe work area clear of obstacles and/or scrap product, tools, etc
• Must always use correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Follow all safety procedures; must obey all Lock Out/Tag Out and/or Confined Space Entry regulations
• Comply with ISO 9001 policies and procedures

Desired Skills And Experience

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, or previously demonstrated experience
• Electrical and mechanical knowledge
• Ability to troubleshoot production equipment
• Knowledge of electronics (PLC included), hydraulics, pneumatics and robotics is a plus
• Work in a team environment
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to 55-60 lbs. occasionally during the day
• Must be able to climb on machines, towers, silos, and/or buildings
• Must be able to fit in a confined space for periods of time
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs and carrying up to 25 lbs
• Frequent pushing, pulling, twisting, balancing, and stooping
