We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Piano Teacher to join our team.
In this role, you'll work closely with a manageable group of students—ranging from beginners to advanced pianists—in a supportive studio environment. Teachers typically work with no more than 12 students per day, though schedules may vary depending on availability and enrollment.
You'll provide high-quality, individualized piano instruction tailored to each student's goals, helping them build strong technique, musical confidence, and a genuine love for playing.
Compensation starts at $44/hour and increases with experience and longevity.

Responsibilities & Duties
• Assess students' current piano skills and identify areas for growth
• Develop customized lesson plans based on individual goals and learning styles
• Teach proper piano technique, posture, hand position, sight-reading, and musicality
• Introduce music theory concepts appropriate to each student's level
• Guide students through a variety of musical styles and genres
• Prepare students for recitals, performances, auditions, and examinations
• Maintain a positive, encouraging learning environment that supports creativity and fun
• Provide constructive feedback to support steady progress
• Monitor and evaluate student development, adjusting teaching methods as needed
• Communicate regularly with students and parents regarding progress and goals
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to support school events and recitals

Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Music, Piano Performance, Piano Pedagogy, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Proven experience teaching piano to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Strong foundation in piano technique, music theory, and pedagogy
• Familiarity with diverse musical styles and teaching approaches
• Experience preparing students for recitals, competitions, exams, or auditions is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire students of all ages
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet individual learning needs
