About the Role:

The Supervisor at Tarter Tube, plays a critical role in overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. This position involves leading a team, coordinating workflow, and acting as a liaison between management and staff to facilitate clear communication and effective problem-solving. The Supervisor is responsible for monitoring performance metrics, providing coaching and support to team members, and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity. Additionally, the role requires ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Ultimately, the Supervisor contributes to the overall success of Tarter Tube by driving operational excellence and supporting the development of a motivated and high-performing team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Technical diploma or equivalent required; bachelors degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate a diverse team effectively.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety standards and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft Office and production management software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, or related field.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Certification in supervisory management or leadership training programs.
• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and quality assurance standards.
• Demonstrated success in conflict resolution and employee development.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise daily activities of assigned team members to meet production and quality goals.
• Coordinate work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to employees to promote skill development and accountability.
• Identify operational challenges and collaborate with management to implement effective solutions.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, company policies, and regulatory standards within the work area.
• Maintain accurate records of team performance, attendance, and incident reports.
• Facilitate communication between staff and upper management to address concerns and share updates.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending process enhancements and efficiency measures.

• Ability to stand, walk, and move around the plant for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive motions.
• Comfortable working in an industrial environment with exposure to chemicals, fumes, and varying temperatures.
