Job Summary
The QA Administrative Assistant II provides experienced administrative and document control support to the Quality Assurance Department. This role independently manages quality documentation, supports audits, and assists QA leadership in maintaining compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide advanced administrative support to the QA Department.
- Maintain and control quality documentation including procedures, work instructions, inspection records, certifications, and training files.
- Independently manage document revisions, approvals, distribution, and archiving.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and tracking corrective actions.
- Maintain and track NCRs, CAPAs, and audit follow-up items.
- Enter, analyze, and maintain quality data in spreadsheets or quality management systems.
- Coordinate calibration and inspection records for measuring and test equipment.
- Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams regarding quality documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive quality information.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support QA operations.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or equivalent coursework preferred.
- 2-4 years of administrative experience, preferably in a Quality Assurance or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with document control, audits, and quality records strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with quality systems preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar quality systems preferred.
Salary Expectations
$21 - $24 HR
Work schedule: 7am-3:30pm M-F
