Overview
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and results-driven Regional Manager to oversee assigned residential properties across multiple locations. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in Property Management and process improvement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing teams, and ensuring operational excellence while maintaining a focus on profitability.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage all aspects of assigned properties. Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants, clients, and team members.
- Oversee properties' personnel and assess their performance. Responsible for hiring, training, supervising, developing, and terminating all on-site personnel.
- Ensure optimal staff performance and timely completion of all job duties and assignments.
- Source and build relationships with prospective clients/owners to expand business opportunities.
- Fill in during On-site and Community Manager absences or vacancies.
- Planning and execution of training and Continuing Manager Education programs for Property, On-site, and Community Managers.
- Assist with the implementation of new programs and procedures. Assist in marketing presentations.
- Assist with the initial setup of new communities.
- Understand the target market of your community by outlining marketing goals, preparing regular market surveys, keeping open lines of communication with surrounding communities, and aiming for advertising and promotions.
- Oversight of property risk management, safety standards, and team member and resident liability
- Ensure staff compliance with company policies and procedures (including disciplinary action, if necessary).
- Assist with special projects and administrative tasks.
- Assist, review, and be responsible for all written work generated by Property Managers.
- Handle and/or assist with all resident problems that cannot be solved by the Property Manager.
- Audit resident files regularly, paying attention to proper documentation and ensuring compliance procedures are followed.
- Staying up to date on relevant laws and agency regulations, including but not limited to fair housing, sexual harassment, disability accommodations, and landlord-tenant relationships as they apply to the company's and communities' policies and procedures.
- Visit and inspect the properties regularly for safety hazards, property damage, and needed repairs by maintenance staff. Follow up on repairs to verify completion and compliance with standards, property insurance companies, government agencies, and company safety policies and risk management pro
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising diverse teams.
- Proven track record as a property manager or regional manager.
- Must have a minimum of 8-10 years of previous property management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
- Fully understanding property management and its financial aspects
- In-depth knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property management.
- Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software.
- Customer focus and bottom-line orientation.
- Interpersonal with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Well-organized with excellent time management skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75, $90,000.00 per year
