Grange Garden Café & Market is seeking a talented Pizza Chef to join our growing culinary team. Our ideal candidate is passionate about high-quality, artisan food and thrives in a creative, fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for crafting exceptional pizzas using our outdoor Gozney pizza oven and preparing dough from scratch daily.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, and proof pizza dough from scratch with consistent quality
• Hand-stretch dough and craft pizzas with attention to flavor, texture, and presentation
• Operate and maintain our Gozney outdoor pizza oven, ensuring proper temperature control and cooking technique
• Manage prep, mise en place, and workstation cleanliness
• Collaborate with café leadership on seasonal menu specials or new pizza offerings
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards at all times
• Assist with outdoor café service during peak periods

Requirements

• Proven experience as a wood fire pizza chef, pizzaiolo, or similar culinary role
• Strong knowledge of dough fermentation, hydration levels, and artisan pizza techniques
• Experience operating wood-fired or high-heat ovens (Gozney experience is a major plus)
• Ability to work in a busy outdoor environment with grace and efficiency
• Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Must be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $28.25 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
