Reports To: Care Coordinator / Home Care Supervisor

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and flexible floater caregiver to provide non-medical in-home support to multiple clients as needed. The floater caregiver plays a critical role in ensuring consistent, high-quality care across clients by filling in shifts, assisting with daily activities, and providing companionship whenever regular caregivers are unavailable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care assistance such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands
• Provide medication reminders (non-administration) and support with appointments
• Adapt quickly to different clients' needs, schedules, and home environments
• Follow care plans and communicate changes in client condition or concerns to the care coordinator
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for each client
• Be available to fill in shifts on short notice, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience in caregiving, home care, or customer service is a plus
• Flexible schedule and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable to different client needs
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to assist clients safely

Work Environment:

• Client homes, with exposure to pets, household odors, or minor hazards
• Variable schedules and multiple client locations
