Job Title: Commercial & Residential Appliance Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Commercial & Residential Appliance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and repairing a variety of household and commercial appliances. This role involves hands-on service, technical troubleshooting, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for providing in-home and on-site service, ensuring timely and high-quality repairs for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of residential and commercial appliances, including refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, ovens, stoves, washers, and dryers.
• Perform sealed system repairs including compressor replacement, refrigerant recovery, and recharging (e.g., R134a, R600).
• Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals to troubleshoot and resolve complex appliance issues.
• Disassemble and reassemble appliances using proper tools and techniques for accurate repairs.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure appliances are operating efficiently and safely.
• Deliver clear communication to customers regarding the issue, repair process, and cost estimates.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation for each job.
• Collaborate with dispatch and procurement teams for parts coordination and job scheduling.
• Follow safety protocols and company standards at all times during service visits.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in appliance repair, both residential and commercial.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems within major appliances.
• Ability to read and apply technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel locally to customer locations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with commercial refrigeration equipment is highly desirable.
• Background in sealed system repair and refrigerant handling (EPA certification preferred).
• Previous experience with delivery or installation of large appliances is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $2, $3,000.00 per week
