Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in various cleaning and custodial tasks, ensuring a clean, sanitary, and well-maintained environment for staff and visitors. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the upkeep of commercial, industrial, or residential spaces, supporting our commitment to high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.

Duties

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas
• Conduct custodial tasks such as window washing and surface disinfecting
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed
• Support industrial cleaning projects when required
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored
• Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience preferred, including commercial or industrial cleaning
• Experience with facilities maintenance or porter duties is a plus
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
• Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 per week
