Duties

• Responsible for thoroughly cleaning dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or manual methods.
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or organizing ingredients when needed.
• Support the catering and banquet teams by ensuring all serving ware and utensils are sanitized and ready for events.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dishwashing area by regularly sanitizing surfaces, sinks, and storage spaces.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely clearing of plates and assisting with bussing tables during busy service times.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety standards are met at all times.
• Help with basic kitchen cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal to uphold hygiene standards.

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting culinary operations.
• Flexibility to work evening shifts and adapt to changing priorities during busy hours.
• Basic culinary experience or familiarity with kitchen equipment is a plus but not mandatory.
