General Manager

The Kendrick Hotel is seeking an experienced, service-driven General Manager to lead our boutique property in the heart of Flagstaff, Arizona. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on hospitality professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences, building strong teams, and maintaining a welcoming, high-quality hotel.

About the Role

As General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of hotel operations while setting the standard for outstanding customer service. You will be responsible for creating memorable guest experiences, leading and developing staff, and ensuring the hotel operates efficiently, profitably, and in alignment with brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion a guest-first culture, ensuring exceptional service at every touchpoint
• Oversee daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance
• Recruit, train, coach, and motivate a high-performing hospitality team
• Handle guest feedback and concerns with professionalism and care
• Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial performance
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety regulations, and local requirements
• Build strong relationships with guests, staff, and the Flagstaff community

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Hotel General Manager or senior hotel leadership role
• Strong passion for customer service and guest satisfaction
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced boutique hotel environment
• Experience with hotel financials, staffing, and operational systems
• Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays as needed
