The Role – Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in industrial machinery manufacturing. This is a hands-on management role for someone who can immediately add value and take ownership of machine production from day one. We are not looking to train someone for this position—you must be experienced and ready to manage production efficiently with minimal ramp-up.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee and manage machine production from start to final sign-off.

· Work with project managers and customers to define and implement production schedules.

· Monitor and update production schedules to ensure timely completion.

· Bridge communication between design engineers and manufacturing to resolve challenges efficiently.

· Ensure outsourced work is assigned to capable suppliers and completed to high standards.

· Collaborate with sales and estimating teams to provide accurate project timelines.

· Ensure as-built drawings are updated and operation & maintenance manuals are properly documented.

· Work alongside project engineers to deliver fully completed, high-quality projects.

· Troubleshoot engineering drawing discrepancies to maintain production accuracy.

Qualifications:

· 5+ years of experience in manufacturing industrial machinery (capital equipment).

· Strong working knowledge of machine shop practices and mechanical troubleshooting.

· Hands-on experience with milling (CNC & manual), lathe, surface grinder, planer, and wire eroder.

· Knowledge of MIG/TIG welding relevant to machine building.

· Basic understanding of electrical systems in machinery.

· Familiarity with pneumatic & hydraulic control circuits.

· Ability to work with CNC/PLC/HMI machines (though we have a specialist for advanced automation).

· Strong understanding of machinery safeguarding principles and production work cell standards.

· Fluent English communication skills (written & spoken).

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project.

· Highly organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined in managing production.

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $80,000 USD / Year + Commission for On-Site Days
