Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Barista/Shift Leader to join our team. As a Barista/Shift Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations during your assigned shift. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing sales, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. If you have a passion for coffee, enjoy working in the food industry, and have strong leadership skills, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and efficient manner

• Manage sales transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register

• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the store, including restocking shelves and cleaning equipment

• Train and supervise team members to ensure they are performing their duties effectively

• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain adequate stock

• Adhere to food safety guidelines and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

• Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner and resolve issues promptly

• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and company policies

• Assist with opening and closing procedures as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service or leadership role preferred

• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers and team members

• Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a plus

• Proficient in cash handling procedures and retail math

• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively

• Familiarity with food safety regulations is desirable

• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts including weekends
