Pest Control Technician –

Location: (New York City (All boroughs) and Long Island)

Compensation: $20 to $28 per hour + commission for new accounts sold by Technician.

Schedule: Full‑time (Monday thru Friday with occasional Saturdays. Generally, routes begin at 3 a.m. and end by noon)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Full-Time Pest Control Technician. As a Technician, you will ensure that customers' homes and businesses are protected from insects, rodents, and other pests. This position is available to entry level/no experience individuals looking to start a career in a stable and growing industry. You will be trained to provide effective pest control services to our diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough interior and exterior inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify potential and/or present pest and assess the scope of infestations.
• Developing and implementing effective treatment plans following product‑label and DEC guidelines.
• Set traps, bait stations, and exclusion devices; apply pesticides safely and remove pests, as needed.
• Educate customers on preventive measures, treatment modalities, and precautions after application of treatments.
• Maintain accurate records of services, payments, and client's needs through FieldRoutes.
• Keep company vehicle, tools, and equipment clean and operational.
• Assist with inspection of new accounts and sales as needed.

Requirements:

• High‑school diploma or equivalent. (Entry level/ No experience accepted).
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be able to kneel, crawl, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to use, or learn how to use within probatory period, FieldRoutes and Slack apps.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Willingness to obtain state pest‑control license (training provided).
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive and problem-solving attitude are essential.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English (Fluency in Spanish is a plus).

Preferred: Previous experience in pest control, comfort with technology (mobile apps, route scheduling software).
