Position Overview:
The Case Manager provides individualized case management and facilitates Cognitive Behavioral Intervention (CBI) groups for youth enrolled in the LCA Juvenile Program. This role includes delivering evidence-based curricula and offering ongoing support to an assigned caseload of participants.
Using Motivational Interviewing techniques, effective case management strategies, and other evidence-based practices, the Case Manager conducts intake assessments, develops and implements service plans, facilitates group sessions, and provides continuous support and guidance to youth throughout their program involvement.
Desirable Characteristics:
- Prior experience working with at risk youth or families with multiple problems in the
- delinquency or child welfare systems preferred.
- Knowledge and/or experience working in a jail/prison environment and knowledge of
- the criminal justice system preferred.
- Flexible, adaptable, and solutions-focused
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Trauma-informed and culturally sensitive approach
- Skilled in conflict resolution and de-escalation
- Maintains firm, consistent, and appropriate boundaries
- Demonstrates integrity, reliability, and sound judgment
- Works effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong documentation and observation skills
- Valid California Driver License with safe driving record.
- Must be able to pass Live scan background check and Stanislaus County Juvenile Hall Background clearance.

Minimum Requirements:
- Associate degree AND two years of work experience in human services
- OR four years of work experience in community justice/human services.
- Experience working with the criminal justice, homeless, or substance abusing population within the last two years preferred.
- Bachelor's degree highly preferred.

Salary: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour DOE + Benefits
