Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables and handling basic food items when needed
• Support catering and banquet setups by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety standards are met at all times
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely clearing of tables and smooth service flow
• Adhere to health and safety regulations related to cleaning procedures and food hygiene practices

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key
• Familiarity with basic kitchen operations such as bussing tables or assisting in food prep is a plus
• Experience with catering or banquet settings can be advantageous but is not mandatory
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks comfortably
• Strong attention to detail in cleaning and sanitation processes ensures compliance with health standards
