Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team in delivering exceptional food service to our guests.

Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash regularly.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
• Support banquet and catering operations by ensuring that all necessary items are clean and ready for service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Help with bussing tables and cleaning dining areas when required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service.
• Experience in culinary roles or food service is a plus, including banquet experience or catering knowledge.
• Willingness to assist with various kitchen tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and serving as needed.
