Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team at Surge Entertainment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in meal preparation and food service, with experience in fine dining or the food industry. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall dining experience for our guests. Pay based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist in menu planning and development, ensuring a variety of high-quality dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary to meet culinary standards.
• Follow all health and safety regulations while handling food products.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role within the food service industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation methods.
• Familiarity with dietary restrictions and menu planning is a plus.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for cooking and providing exceptional dining experiences is essential.
