General Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager to lead our restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management, particularly in the casual dining sector. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving profitability while maintaining a positive work environment for staff.

Duties

• Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, training, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and management practices.
• Oversee financial performance by monitoring budgets, controlling costs, and maximizing revenue.
• Lead the interviewing process to hire qualified staff and develop training programs for new employees.
• Implement effective shift management strategies to ensure smooth service during peak times.
• Utilize Aloha POS system for efficient order processing and inventory management.
• Foster a positive dining experience by maintaining high standards of food quality and customer service.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop seasonal menus and special promotions that attract customers.

Skills

• Proven experience in restaurant management within the casual dining industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Proficient in interviewing techniques and training development methodologies.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on shift management and operational efficiency.
• Knowledge of food handling regulations and best practices in food management.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $45, $60,000.00 per year
