Server--Northlake

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our team in Northlake. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills, culinary knowledge, and customer service expertise while working in a vibrant setting that emphasizes guest satisfaction and food quality. Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with food safety standards are highly valued.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS.
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to sanitation standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
• Assist with food preparation, food handling, and sanitation duties as needed to maintain cleanliness standards
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a memorable dining experience
• Clear tables, bus tables, and assist with general restaurant cleanliness to uphold sanitation standards
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours

Skills

• Experience with POS systems such as Toast POS.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures in a restaurant setting
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Previous experience in hospitality environments is a plus
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Familiarity with food industry standards including serving, bussing, and guest relations
