Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Line Cook to join our busy bagel shop at Pork Roll Pete's. This ideal candidate is someone who can work in a fast-paced environment, prepare high-quality breakfast and lunch items, and maintain a strong attention to detail. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch items, including eggs, breakfast and lunch sandwiches.
• Follow standardized recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency.
• Set up, stock, and maintain cleanliness of the line and all prep stations.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently (grill, flat top, ovens, slicer)
• Assist with general food preparation and bagel prep, spreads as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace throughout the shift.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, front-of-house staff, and management.
• Support opening or closing duties depending on shift.
• Uphold Pork Roll Pete's core values for quality, speed, consistency, exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

• Previous line cook and food prep experience preferred (bagel or breakfast experience is a plus)
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently during busy rushes
• Knowledge of basic food safely and kitchen procedures
• Strong multitasking and communication skills
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 30 lbs

This position requires a commitment to quality culinary work, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment. Candidates should demonstrate strong cooking skills, knowledge of food safety practices, and a passion for delivering excellent dining experiences.

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
