United Cargo Management is looking for motivated individuals who are dedicated to customer satisfaction and are ready to help grow the company's supply chain management business.

Majority of the products we use daily are either imported or made from imported materials. If you would like to be part of this experience and also get to know how these items make their journey from the manufacturer all the way to store shelves, this position will help you understand how supply chain works while earning a living at it.

For candidates with no experience , UCM will provide all necessary tools to help the sales department grow. There is opportunity to grow from the sales support role to a sales position.



Position Summary

The Sales Support Specialist plays a key role in supporting UCM's commercial team by assisting with customer quotes, tracking shipments, preparing sales materials, maintaining CRM updates, and ensuring a smooth customer experience.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and interested in developing a career in logistics and international trade.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and follow up on freight rate quotes (FCL, LCL, Air, Domestic).
  • Assist Sales Managers with customer inquiries and daily support.
  • Coordinate with operations to gather rates, schedules, transit times, and shipment status.
  • Maintain accurate CRM/HubSpot records on customer activities and opportunities.
  • Communicate with carriers, co-loaders, and vendors to request pricing and service details.
  • Support new customer onboarding and documentation requirements.
  • Build sales presentations, proposals, and customer rate sheets.
  • Track and monitor key target accounts and send weekly updates.
  • Provide proactive customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Work collaboratively with Operations to ensure smooth handoff of bookings.


Ideal candidate would:

  • Have at least 2 years of college (AS or AAS Degree)

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

  • No sales support or freight forwarding experience required, but some exposure to Ocean Freight shipping or supply chain is preferred, such as Operations Departments in NVOCC or Customer Service in carrier/trucker/freight forwarder.

  • Experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).

  • Ability to read rates, tariffs, and carrier schedules.

  • Know how to use Excel, Outlook, basic online services, and operate Windows based computers with general knowledge of day to day tasks such as generating PDF.

  • Know how to quickly move from planning to execution and does not linger over small bumps and be proud of their organizational skills.

  • Be able to prepare reports to outline daily work.

  • Demonstrate what they learn from the training at each milestone and be able to fully grasp the basics of the industry within short time.



Each candidate is expected to be able to maintain clients ranging $1,000 to $1,000,000 in revenue per year.

Compensation $40,000 to $60,000 starting salary based on experience. Position is in-office, 8:30AM to 5:30PM.
