CNC Machinist Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings. The CNC Machinist will ensure high-quality production while maintaining safety standards and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Program and Operate CNC mills and lathes , to produce high-precision parts.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Set up tooling and fixtures for machining processes based on engineering specifications.
• Read and interpret CAD drawings to understand part requirements and machining instructions.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot issues with machinery or production processes and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and enhance product quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.
• Familiarity with CAD software for interpreting technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of tooling, machining processes, and quality control measures.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
