A rapidly scaling clean-energy platform is adding a Structured Finance Associate to its team as it continues to expand across the DG and community solar markets. The company is well-capitalized by a leading global infrastructure investor and has been actively deploying capital, acquiring projects, and building a national pipeline.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants broad transaction exposure, real ownership of financial workstreams, and a seat at the table with senior decision-makers in a fast-moving environment.
Role Overview
The Associate will be a key contributor on transactions across the capital stack, including project-level financing, tax equity, corporate debt, and M&A. You'll be responsible for driving financial analysis, preparing investment materials, coordinating diligence, and supporting deals from early evaluation through close. This role offers deep exposure to development, origination, and asset-level strategy as the company continues to scale.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain advanced financial models for project finance, acquisitions, and structured capital
• Support capital raises and evaluate investment opportunities across DG solar and storage
• Assist in negotiating and structuring transactions with lenders, investors, and counterparties
• Manage diligence workflows and cross-functional coordination with legal, technical, and development teams
• Prepare internal materials for senior leadership and investment stakeholders
• Provide guidance to junior team members on modeling and analytical processes
Ideal Background
• 3–4 years of experience in renewable energy finance, investment banking, project finance, or related analytical roles
• Strong modeling skills and comfort working through complex capital structures
• Exposure to executed transactions (M&A, tax equity, project financing, or similar)
• Interest in DG/C&I/community solar markets and distributed energy economics
• Highly driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented setting
• Comfortable taking initiative and stepping into a larger responsibility set quickly
