Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. Experience with food service operations, POS systems, and fine dining standards is preferred. This role offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills and grow within the food industry.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and warmly, creating a welcoming atmosphere
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, special requests, and resolving concerns professionally
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS or cashiering systems
• Support host/host duties when needed, including seating guests and managing reservations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Experience in serving, bussing, hosting/hostessing, or food preparation is advantageous
• Hospitality background with a focus on guest relations and food industry standards is preferred
