About The Role

• Reports directly to the Controller
• No direct reports, but highly visible within the accounting team
• Owns P&L, inventory controls, variance analysis, and month-end/year-end closes
• Serves as the functional expert on financial transaction flow between systems and ERP platforms

• Key responsibilities include:

• Journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet maintenance

• Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Internal controls and audit support
• Leading physical inventory processes

• Driving systems/process improvements and ERP automation initiatives

• Travel: Quarterly travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA preferred but not required)
• 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in cost/inventory accounting within distribution or supply chain
• Strong ERP and warehouse system experience; PeopleSoft familiarity a plus
• Advanced Excel skills; detail-oriented and organized
• Self-starter, agent of change, strong communication skills
