Digital Marketing Intern

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Intern to join our Marketing team. This role is designed for a student currently enrolled in marketing, ecommerce, or related field. This role provides the student with a unique opportunity to develop practical marketing skills, while supporting the digital marketing team.

• Increasing website traffic through SEO & Email efforts
• Enhancing customer experience by optimizing website usability
• Boosting organic rankings through meticulous on-page and technical SEO improvements based on agency feedback & customer UX learnings
• Stay on top of digital trends and best practices to ensure content aligns with search engine algorithms and attracts organic traffic
• Execute and monitor email marketing campaigns on an online platform as directed
• Analyze and update email database to ensure accurate customer data and CASL compliance
• Collaborate with marketing team to ensure brand standards are maintained
• Monitor and report on online metrics using GA4 and Shopify
• Assist with additional marketing tasks as required

Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

• Be legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in marketing, ecommerce or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office (especially Excel.
• Experience in Google Marketing Platforms (Analytics 4, Search Console, Merchant Center, AdWords, etc.)
• Email marketing software/platform experience an asset.
• HTML coding experience an asset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation:

The starting rate for this position is $19 per hour; skill set and experience will be taken into consideration for total renumeration of role.
