Job Summary
About Us: At H&R Block Canada, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional client services and innovative tax solutions. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Client Service Leader (CSL) to join our team and ensure that our services and programs exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Promote, support, and ensure all services and programs are offered to clients in accordance with H&R Block Canada policies, procedures, and established targets.
· Share individual performance goals and results with Tax Professionals and the District Manager.
· Monitor, evaluate, and coach Associates to attain desired results.
· Implement the Instant Refund program as per the district plan.
· Schedule and conduct Associate interviews, training, and evaluations.
· Assign and reassign work to office staff, monitor work schedules, and approve overtime requests.
· Provide day-to-day coaching and timely, specific performance feedback to individual Associates.
· Ensure all Associates complete required training and arrange additional support as needed.
· Manage cash, debit/credit card receipts, balance cash, and complete bank deposits.
· Ensure compliance with the district operating plan and resolve variations in coordination with the District Manager.
· Follow standard operating procedures for office opening and closing, security, supply ordering, file maintenance, and office cleanliness.
· Provide assistance and support in district training sessions as required.
· Respond promptly to client service issues or Associate relations concerns, escalating complex issues to the District Manager as needed.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Proven customer service skills.
· Effective verbal and written communication skills, public relations skills, detail-oriented, organizational, math, and analytical skills.
· Administrative and organizational skills to plan and coordinate office workload.
· Proficiency in using Windows-based systems and applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
· Ability to work independently and support team-based initiatives in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
· Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
· Preference for candidates with three to five years of relevant tax office experience.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
