Licensed Insurance Agent

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will be appointed by W Barnett Agency and will be responsible for selling and servicing a full range of personal and commercial lines insurance products to new and existing clients. This role requires a strong understanding of P&C insurance principles, excellent communication and sales skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

Proactively identify and cultivate new client leads through various methods, including networking, referrals, and community involvement.

Conduct thorough needs assessments with clients to understand their insurance requirements and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.

Present and explain various Insurance Companies property and casualty products, including auto, home, renters, umbrella, and small business insurance.

Prepare and process insurance applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Provide ongoing policy service to clients, including policy reviews, endorsements, claims assistance, and billing inquiries.

Meet and exceed sales goals and performance metrics.

Adhere to all regulatory requirements and ethical standards.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and loyalty.

Collaborate effectively with internal teams and Insurance Company representatives.

Attend ongoing training and professional development sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.

Active and valid Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License in Indiana. Having an Illinois License is a plus

1 year of experience in property and casualty insurance sales preferred but not necessary.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).

Strong customer service orientation and ability to build rapport with clients.

Proficient in using insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Self-motivated and driven to succeed.

Knowledge of AAA Insurance Company products and systems is a plus.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if client visits are required).

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $34, $70,000.00 per year
