Line Cook

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and cooking, with a strong focus on food safety and quality. This role involves preparing and assembling dishes according to restaurant standards, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in the food industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items following established recipes and presentation standards
• Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
• Ensure all food handling practices meet safety and sanitation regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station throughout shifts
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
• Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to guests
• Follow proper food safety procedures at all times, including proper storage and labeling of ingredients
• Support the overall efficiency of the kitchen by assisting with meal assembly and plating

Requirements

• Prior experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
• Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices in the food industry
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and food safety protocols
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Passion for delivering high-quality food service and creating an enjoyable dining experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 – 40 per week
