Route Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Route Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and a strong commitment to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver products to designated locations.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and storage.
• Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
• Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred.
• Experience in commercial driving a straight truck a must.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) regularly.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
• Must have a clean driving record and pass background checks as required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late evenings as needed.
• Mechanical aptitude is an asset.
